ABC TV will screen a new Sarah Blasko documentary next month

Primary tabs

It's part of their packed Aus Music Month program.

One of the finest voices in Australian music, Sarah Blasko, is under the spotlight in a brand new documentary to be shown on the ABC next month.

Blasko follows the artist as she creates a new album in a particularly unorthodox manner; creating the album from scratch in a theatre space meaning the usually quite intimate creative process is laid bare.

Amongst all this are little biographical snippets about Sarah Blasko’s life from her childhood right up to now, which should give an interesting insight into how she developed into the artist she is today.

Friday On My Mind, a mini-series about Australian ‘60s garage pop legends The Easybeats, will screen across Sunday 26 November and Sunday 3 December as a massive end to the month.

A screening of Kriv Stenders’ acclaimed documentary on The Go-Betweens, Right Here, will be on ABC TV and iView from 9.30pm Tuesday 21 November.

And stay tuned for more details about the mammoth offering of Australian music goodness Double J has planned for you all throughout November.
