This is a rare chance to see Beck in such an intimate environment.

Beck mustn’t like having time off. The much-beloved, Grammy award winning, alt-rock/weirdo pop veteran/genius has today announced that, while he’s in town for the Sydney City Limits festival this weekend, he’s going to play an incredibly intimate Sydney club show as well.

Then, keep your eyes peeled to your email tomorrow afternoon. You should know at around 5pm if you managed to score tickets. Then you can proceed to buy them through the link provided in that email.

Late last year saw Beck release his most unabashedly pop album yet, the dazzling Colors, and we’re very keen to hear how those shiny, highly produced songs go down with the benefit of the live energy Beck whips up at his shows.

Then, there's all those classics. So many classics.

Beck plays the Factory Theatre on Friday 23 February. Good luck!

If you can’t nab tickets, he’s also playing these shows.

Saturday 24 February – Sydney City Limits, Centennial Parklands, Sydney
Monday 26 February – Royal Theatre, Canberra
Wednesday 28 February – Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne
