Bob Dylan will tour Australia this August
Bob Dylan returns to Australia this August, bringing us songs from his incomparable songbook reimagined for the live stage in 2018.
UPDATE: Due to overwhelming demand, Dylan has announced second Melbourne and Sydney shows. Details are below.
Those who’ve seen Dylan in the past will tell you that it’s a show quite unlike any other. It’s not a nostalgic trip down memory lane, it’s a fascinating, vital, exciting show that proves that Bob Dylan will never be done evolving as an artist.
He was last in Australia in 2014 for a series of hugely well-received shows with a band that served as a perfect complement to the legendary artist's latest musical whims.

Given that he has written some of the greatest songs of all time and made some of the best albums ever committed to tape, a Bob Dylan live show is an unmissable experience for any music fan.
From his game-changing early material, like 1963’s The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan, 1965’s Highway 61 Revisited and 1966’s Blonde On Blonde, to his genius mid-era records like 1975’s Blood On The Tracks and 1983’s Infidels to his astonishing late-career triumphs like 2006’s Modern Times and 2012’s Tempest, the man has probably written more great songs than anyone else in history.
He’s one of the true legends and you’ve got to see him while you can. Any time he tours is a big deal.
