Dan Sultan announces intimate solo tour
Dan Sultan is getting back on his feet, and back out on the road this December to play a run of low-key solo shows in capital cities.
It’s great news for fans disappointed when Sultan cancelled the remainder of his Killer tour in early June following a widely criticised performance in Cairns, with Sultan apologising for his “inexcusable and disrespectful” behaviour.
“I am taking stock of my personal situation and am seeking professional help,” the ARIA and NIMAS-decorated songwriter said at the time. He's now reportedly happier and healthier and ready to kick off a fresh chapter.
When he's firing on all cylinders, as he was at Bluesfest earlier this year, Sultan is capable of flooring audiences with his knock-out charisma and a passionate catalogue of meaningful rock and blues.
Sultan will be showing off material from his fourth studio album Killer, which debuted at #5 in the ARIA Album Charts. Songs from the recorded were re-interpreted on the Killer Under A Blood Moon EP, with the help of A.B. Original, Camp Cope, Meg Mac, and Gang of Youths frontman Dave Le'aupepe.
