King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard join the Laneway line up

Primary tabs

King Gizzard are the big final addition to the 2017 Laneway bill.

Our love for Melbourne’s King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard is well established. Our affection for the annual St Jerome’s Laneway Festival is probably just as obvious. So the news that one of our favourite bands have been added to one of our favourite festivals has made for a delightful start to the year.

Yes, on top of releasing five new albums this year, King Gizzard will bring their dynamic live show to each and every leg of the Laneway festival, which kicks off in just a couple of weeks. It’s news so good that it almost makes up for the sad cancellation of The Julie Ruin at the end of last year.
