The festival hits regional centres around the nation, with a line up of artists who we loved in the 90s and early 2000s and who are still going strong today.

Spiderbait, Jebediah, Shihad, Bodyjar, 28 Days and Area 7 are the bands joining Magic Dirt in Townsville, Gladstone, Ipswich and Mt Evelyn.

The show also takes place in Toowoomba and the Gold Coast, but Magic Dirt won’t be playing those shows. Instead, Killing Heidi will take their spot on the bill.

Magic Dirt played their final ever shows just after the 2009 passing of founding member and driving force Dean Turner as a part of the Big Day Out tour in 2010.

During their almost 20-year career they released some of the most visceral and exciting noise rock of the 90s and 2000s, teaming it with some irresistible pop hooks and an almighty live show.
