Meet your inaugural triple j Unearthed Fairgrounds winner

This Sydney singer will fit in just nicely on the Fairgrounds line up.

For the first time this year, Double J, triple j Unearthed and Fairgrounds have teamed up to offer one promising up and coming artist a spot on the line up for the 2017 Fairgrounds Festival in Berry this December.

Georgia Mulligan is a Sydney singer-songwriter who released her debut EP, Our Blood to Part, last year. She counts Sharon van Etten, Angel Olsen, Fiona Apple and Sun Kil Moon among her influences and these artists paint a very accurate picture of her thoughtful, dreamy, intimate songwriting.

We’re very excited to announce that she is the winner of the inaugural Unearthed Fairgrounds competition and, as such, will be a part of the brilliant Fairgrounds line up this December.

Hear more of her stunning songs over at her triple j Unearthed profile.

Mulligan joins a line up that includes The Shins, You Am I, Holly Throsby, Jen Cloher, Future Islands, Gang of Youths and a whole lot more.

Fairgrounds happens in Berry on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 December. Tickets are on sale now.
