M.I.A., The Presets heading up Australia's newest New Year's Day festival
Heading up the festivities will be M.I.A., in her first Australian show in half-a-decade. Mathangi ‘Maya’ Arulpragasam is easily Sri Lanka’s most famous artist-activist and one of the most fascinating pop stars of our era.
Once nominated as the ‘00s Artist of the Decade by The Guardian, she's got the experience and tunes to set off a killer live show - from 'Paper Planes’ and ‘Galang’, to ‘Bad Girls’, ‘Borders’ and ‘Bird Flu’.

Joining her on the line-up will be national electro treasures The Presets. If you've somehow managed to miss seeing this legendary duo's live show, then there's never been a better time to sweat up a storm with them as they roll out their iconic back catalogue alongside material from their latest rave odyssey, Hi Viz.
