Out On The Weekend announces full line up for fifth anniversary event
Australia’s biggest celebration of all things Americana returns for the fifth year in 2018, as Out on the Weekend again draws people out to Seaworks in the Melbourne suburb of Williamstown for a day of some of the country music being made on the planet right now.
This year’s line up features Nashville’s brilliant breakout star Margo Price – who released one of the best albums of 2016 – leads this year’s line up on her first Australian tour.
Melbourne favourites Wagons regroup for their first show in years and the masterful Tony Joe White returns to Australia, which has practically become his second home over the past few decades, with a full band in tow for the first time since the 70s!
Old Crow Medicine Show founder Willie Watson is one board, as are recent visitors Courtney Marie Andrews and Birdcloud, who’ll build on their growing followings with their appearance at this year’s festival.
The full line up is below:
Margo Price, Wagons, Tony Joe White, Willie Watson, Courtney Marie Andrews, Birdcloud, The Rechords, Emilee South, Dan Parsons, The Cartridge Family, Georgia State Line, Davey Craddock, The Weeping Willows
Out on the Weekend happens at Seaworks in Williamstown on Saturday 13 October. Tickets are on sale now.
