Regurgitator are Double J Artists in Residence for August
They’ve just released their sensational new record Headroxx and they’re about to head out on the road on a massive national tour, so we’re particularly pleased that Quan Yeomans and Ben Ely, the two founding members of Brisbane-bred alt-rock powerhouse Regurgitator, will be in the Double J studio each Sunday through August as our Artists In Residence.
The band formed in the early/mid 1990s and found enormous success with their first few records, the band unafraid to pillory modern culture and any expectations of what a rock band should be in that fertile time for Australian music.
They’ve remained a fiercely creative force ever since and their latest album is a perfect reminder of that. As Artists In Residence, the duo will give us an insight into the creative forces they have found inspiring throughout their lives.

All through August, Yeomans and Ely will be picking the tunes that have helped shape them into the wildly inventive and exhilarating songwriters they are today.
They’ll reach right back into their musical past, highlighting some of their earliest inspirations, and run us through the music that has kept them engaged right up to the current day.
Join Regurgitator as Artist In Residence each Sunday afternoon from 3pm, repeated 10pm Wednesday nights and available any time online.
