The Cat Empire announce 13 date Australian tour
The Cat Empire are back. They’ve spent the past two months in the studio recording tunes for their forthcoming eighth studio album and, unsurprisingly, they’ve already hatched plans to get back on the road.
Ever since their earliest days the band have been one of our country’s preeminent live acts. They have instigated uncontrollable fits of dancing and elicited wide smiles from many, many thousands of people the world over.
While the promise of new music is incredibly alluring, the truth is that there is no need for an excuse to go and see The Cat Empire. You’re pretty much guaranteed a great time.

This forthcoming tour sees them hit most capital cities and the band have made almost every show an all ages affair, so make sure you bring the kids along and teach them a thing or two about musicianship and how to put on a show. They might be embarrassed by your dancing, but that’s their problem.
They’ll play 13 big shows around the country and it all culminates in a big party in Fremantle across two nights, where the band will perform with Odette, Grievous Bodily Calm, Lucy Peach and more to be announced
Odette supports on all other dates except for Adelaide.
