The Killers will play massive Australian arenas in April and May.

Las Vegas anthemic rockers The Killers are going to be in Australia to play the AFL Grand Final in just a couple of weeks time.

But if you can’t be at the MCG for that spectacle, you won’t have to wait too much longer to see the band as they’ve just announced a few massive Australian tour dates for April and May of 2018.

The tour will see the band play their biggest Australian shows to date, bringing their huge live show to some pretty massive arenas while they’re here. They are fitting venues for the band’s bold brand of rock’n’roll and should make for some really entertaining shows.

The band’s new album Wonderful Wonderful will be out this Friday, almost exactly half a decade since their last record Battle Born. Given its been such a long wait, Killers fans are feeling a little starved of new material, but the first couple of singles - ‘The Man’ and ‘Run For Cover’ - have suggested it’ll be worth the wait.

If you’re a Killers fan, stay tuned to Double J, as we’ll be celebrating the band’s career thus far in The J Files in just a couple of weeks’ time.

The Killers play the following Australian shows next year. Tickets are on sale from Tuesday 3 October.

Friday 27 April - Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Saturday 28 April - Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney
Tuesday 1 May - Perth Arena
Friday 4 May - Hisense Arena, Melbourne
