Two new shows join the Double J line up in 2016
Two exciting new shows will join the Double J line up in 2016.
Get the weekend started with The Funhouse: a new show to make sure your Friday nights sound better than ever.
Each week, Richard Kingsmill will drop two hours of indie anthems, dance floor fillers, killer tracks you can't live without and some you haven't heard in years. There won't be much chatter, just a hand-picked selection of the very best tunes from the past 40 years to end the week in the right kinda way.
The Funhouse joins the Double J line up this Friday 29 January from 8pm AEDT. Of course you can listen to the show live via your TV, digital radio, online and on demand at doublej.net.au.
Our second new show is called Classic Albums, and looks at that very special musical artform.
A good album can change your world. The right ones can stand up to endless plays, bring back strong memories of times past and can even make you think differently about music altogether.
On Sunday mornings Caz Tran presents a classic album that changed modern music and might have just changed your life. Albums that sound as strong now as they did when they were released. Albums that were key to the careers of the people who made them.
Classic Albums kicks off on Sunday 31 January from 10am AEDT, with PJ Harvey's brilliant 2000 album, Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea.
Catch up with a classic album every Sunday morning from 10am, Tuesday night at 6pm, or on demand at doublej.net.au.
