Kasey Chambers' story of music discovery comes full circle this week as she invites us back to her campfire to hear the songs that have soundtracked her past ten years.
Wrapping up her stint as Artist in Residence she reflects on how she’s now in a position to introduce her own kids to the artists that have inspired her, and in turn they’re musical interests are becoming part of her life too.
As well as a bunch of Kasey’s fave current artists like Joe Pug, Foy Vance and Elle King, there’s a few classics in the mix this week. From artists whose influence cuts across generations, like Etta James, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan.
Kasey also tells us why she bonded with her kids over Ed Sheeran and how she resisted seeing Jason Isbell live just to annoy her dad.
