On Double J this week we're celebrating the life, legacy and of course the music of David Bowie, marking the first anniversary of his death. Around the world artists have spent the past year performing Bowie’s iconic songs in a variety of settings - from inner city pubs to stadiums.
One of the standout Bowie tribute concerts of 2016 was performed in the beautiful setting of Hamer Hall, at the Arts Centre in Melbourne in October. Some of Australia's finest vocalists payed tribute to the Starman: Tim Rogers, Adalita, iOTA, Steve Kilby, Ash Naylor, Davey Lane and Deborah Conway reinterpreted his biggest songs, backed by a killer live band and the wonderful Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
Double J is proud to present some of the highlights of this memorable concert – Bowie: Nothing Has Changed.
